Mid-Level Fullstack Engineer Tech for Impact Location: Bristol / Hybrid Level: Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer Salary: £50k-£84k + equity + benefits

They're on a mission to equip investors with the tools to steward their capital responsibly -giving people visibility and a real voice over where their money goes, and the impact it has. They've built an industry-leading platform that's changing how shareholder voting works (for good), and they're now scaling both their core infrastructure and a brand-new AI product that's a genuine game-changer. We're hiring multiple engineers across the team, either Mid or Senior level, would likee of these hires to have solid cloud/platform experience to help build and scale the foundations everything else runs on.

The role This is an exciting opportunity to get stuck in at a fast-paced, tech-focused, impact-driven start up. This role is open at Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer levels, with the level determined by experience, scope, and impact. As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously while collaborating closely with product, design, and operational teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Solid foundations in software engineering and computer science, applied to building scalable, maintainable systems
• Experience writing production code in Go, Python, or TypeScript
• An interest in writing testable code and a mindset aligned with automation and CI/CD
• Experience designing and building APIs (REST; gRPC is a bonus)
• Experience working with data stores such as SQL, NoSQL, or graph databases, including performance and query optimisation
• Familiarity with cloud and infrastructure tooling (e.g. AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Skaffold)
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and modern deployment practices
• Experience working in a growing or fast-moving product environment
• Front-end experience, ideally using React
