UI DESIGNER

Job Role: UI Designer
Location: Hybrid - London
Salary: Up to £75,000 + Benefits

As a Junior to Mid-level UI Designer (3-5 years' experience), you'll focus primarily on UI design and design systems rather than Front End engineering. Reporting into the Lead UI/UX Designer, you'll work across multiple platforms including React, Pega, Sitecore, and Guidewire Digital,You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and senior stakeholders, acting as a design advocate and trusted advisor across IT and the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead UI/UX design for user journeys, workflows, and interfaces across digital platforms

  • Translate user pain points into clear, actionable design solutions

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and insight-driven design validation

  • Contribute to UX standards, guidelines, and the UX Centre of Excellence

  • Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, and design sprints


Essential Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years experience in a UI or UI/UX design role

  • Strong background in UI design and design systems

  • Advanced Figma

  • Experience with design tokens, enterprise UI, and system thinking

  • Proven ability to work with React-based component libraries (design-side)

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating real-world problem-solving beyond visual polish

  • Solid understanding of user-centred design, accessibility, and responsive design

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills


Desirable

  • Exposure to Pega or Guidewire

  • Experience working with React and Storybook

  • Experience with application branding and white labelling

  • Familiarity with Sitecore platforms
