Delivery Lead Data
Contract: Up to 6 months Location: Central London (hybrid - 2-3 days per week in office)
OverviewAn experienced Delivery Lead is required to support a priority Central Government transformation programme, leading delivery of a defined project within a multi-disciplinary team. The role focuses on a critical data and technology workstream and requires strong delivery leadership in a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Lead delivery of a defined project, ensuring outcomes are met within time, cost, and quality constraints

Own and manage the project plan, budget, milestones, and controls

Provide day-to-day leadership to the project team

Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and governance effectively

Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including officials and delivery partners

Report progress, risks, and performance to programme leadership

Contribute to wider programme planning and reporting

Proven experience delivering complex or high-risk projects

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

Experience working with senior stakeholders and operating with high autonomy

Practical expertise in risk and issue management

Deep understanding of data and technology within delivery environments

Experience in Central Government programmes

Relevant qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile PM, APM)
