Senior Service Delivery Manager
A leading specialty insurance organisation is seeking an Application Service Delivery Manager to join its Core Enterprise Applications function, supporting a portfolio of mission-critical insurance platforms including policy administration, claims, and document management systems.
This is a hands-on technical management role (not a people manager), acting as the single point of contact for BAU and project delivery, with responsibility for vendor performance, incident management, and application risk across a hybrid on/offshore support model.
London - 3 days per week
Salary - £80,000 plus bonus and benefits
Key responsibilities:
- Managing BAU support for core insurance applications
- Overseeing third-party vendors and service delivery
- Acting as the primary interface between IT, product, and the business
- Supporting major transformation initiatives, including legacy system migration and platform upgrades
- Ensuring application stability, performance, and continuous improvement
Experience required:
- Background supporting London Market / Specialty Insurance systems
- Experience with enterprise insurance platforms - Guidewire / Eclipse
- Strong knowledge of ITIL
- Technical understanding of SQL and cloud-based applications
- Comfortable coordinating offshore and nearshore support teams
