UI Designer
Role: UI Designer Salary: £75,000 Location: City of London Flexible working: 3days a week in the office
My client is looking for a UI Designer with 3-5 years' experience who lives and breathes UI and design systems. This role is all about enterprise-scale design, system thinking, and strong design advocacy - not front-end engineering.You'll join a newly formed design team with real influence, shaping how UI is built, scaled, and governed across complex platforms and brands.
Responsibilities
- Designing and evolving enterprise-scale design systems
- Maintaining multi-brand UI frameworks and component libraries
- Turning user pain points into clear, actionable design outcomes
- Partnering closely with engineering teams to ensure design intent lands properly
- Embedding quickly into live projects and adding value from day one
Background/Experience
- Strong UI design background (not UX generalist, not front-end dev)
- Proven experience working with design systems
- High-level Figma proficiency
- Experience with design tokens and enterprise UI patterns
- A portfolio that shows real problem-solving, not just pretty screens
- Experienced working in a regulated environment
