VP, Business Development – Insurance Technology Solutions

We are delighted to have successfully filled a number of Sales positions for our client. We are now out to market once more for both an AVP and a VP to sell Insurance Technology solutions.

As a global supplier exclusively operating in the Insurance markets, our client is continuing to grow between 25% - 35% each year.

This role will focus on insurance technology— e.g. platform implementation & upgrades (e.g. Guidewire, Duck Creek, Eclipse etc.), testing/QA, and data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks etc).

Location: London (hybrid)

Focus: New logo acquisition & tech-led growth

What you'll do

  • Open doors and build C‐suite relationships (CTO/CIO/CDO, with COO/CEO as needed) within Insurance organisations.
  • Create and close services deals in implementation, upgrade, integration, and QA/test, plus data engineering/analytics.
  • Lead multi-stakeholder through the full sales lifecycle, from solution shaping → commercial structuring → close.
  • Co‐sell with key partners in the Platform ecosystems and the Snowflake/Databricks data community.
  • Drive a disciplined, transparent pipeline and forecast; land wins in the UK with the future opportunity to scale repeatable plays into Europe.

What you'll bring

  • Recent, proven wins selling tech services (not just software licences) into insurers—implementation, upgrade, testing or data projects.
  • A senior network at CTO/CIO/CDO level (this is essential).
  • Comfort running long, complex sales cycles and shaping multi‐year services engagements.
  • Energy, pace and resilience—the ability to hit the ground running and convert relationships into near‐term revenue.
