About the Role

We are hiring for a highly experienced Technical Program Manager who will be responsible for the Project strategy & delivery of global projects.

Position Overview

As a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager, you will leverage deep technical, process, and domain knowledge to oversee multiple interconnected projects within a broader program. You will ensure delivery of outcomes on time, within scope and budget, while setting execution standards and project management practices across the department.

This role is highly visible and requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to coordinate across global, cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business partners, functional leaders, and technology teams to define requirements and capabilities.
- Develop multi-generational project strategies that align with program objectives.
- Establish and drive consistent execution methodologies and project management practices across all projects.
- Assemble project teams using internal and external technical expertise based on scope, budget, and timelines.
- Manage day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects alongside global technical teams.
- Coordinate schedules, drive alignment, and ensure consistent tracking of shared outcomes.
- Remove roadblocks, address interdependencies, and support team execution across organisational boundaries.
- Manage risks, scope evolution, and non-standard events throughout the program lifecycle.
- Ensure effective communication and progress reporting to stakeholders, leadership, and executive teams.
- Verify quality of deliverables, ensuring alignment with expectations and requirements.
- Track outcome realisation and customer satisfaction using established metrics; document lessons learned.
- Lead initial and final financial reviews while ensuring continual budget and spend tracking.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Professional experience in a STEM field (military experience accepted as equivalent).

- PMP, ScrumMaster, or equivalent project management certifications are advantageous.

Security Requirements

This role requires UK National Security Vetting at Security Check (SC) level, which must be obtained and maintained throughout employment. This requirement applies to all individuals working in or supporting highly regulated UK defence environments, including remote workers.
