They deliver managed IT services across infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity, with a strong focus on local, relationship-led service. Since April 2025, the business has completed two acquisitions as part of an active growth strategy. As a result, they are investing in senior, client-facing leadership to ensure continuity for customers while scaling the business in a structured, professional way.
About Your New Job
As the Account Director, you will:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of key clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned with client roadmaps and commercial objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts through consultative engagement.
- Proactively develop and pursue new business leads within target sectors, shaping compelling proposals.
- Lead strategic bid responses and presentations, supporting the development of proposals and commercial agreements.
What Skills You Need
- 7+ years’ experience in account management, business development, or solution selling within the IT services or managed services sector.
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate complex technical offerings into commercial outcomes.
- Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and pipeline management tools (e.g., Autotask, Salesforce, HubSpot).
