Outstanding contract opportunity to join this global technology consulting business who specialise in delivering enterprise scale architectures specifically for the global retail sector. This project is specifically focused on the architecture of an RFID solution for their smart warehousing programme.
We are seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a multi-year RFID programme focused on transforming store stock accuracy, tagging, scanning, and replenishment execution. This is a pivotal role, reporting into the Principal Architect, and will shape the conceptual and technical foundations of a high-impact global initiative.
You'll need the following experience:
- 5+ years' experience as a Solution Architect within retail warehousing specifically with RFID architecture expertise
- Experience defining and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical architecture across business, application, data, and technical domains
- Proven experience in RFID programmes
- Track record of leading discovery phases, business case development, and conceptual design
- Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong communication and documentation skills to articulate complex solutions clearly.
- A willingness to work in Reading 1-2 days per week (the rest remote)
£600-£650 per day (Inside IR35). Reading & remote. 6 months rolling.
