Job Title: ForgeRock/PingID Developer
Location: Bristol or Edinburgh - 3 days per week in the office
Salary/Rate: Up to £523 per day inside IR35
Start Date: 06/10/2025
Job Type: Contract - 6 months
Company Introduction
You will play a critical role in securing digital identities and access across global financial platforms. You will manage the onboarding and verification of users using PingID for multi-factor authentication and ForgeRock for identity governance, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal security policies.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
Facilitate onboarding of employees, contractors, and third-party users across Finance's global operations.
Verify user identities in alignment with Know Your Employee (KYE) and compliance standards.
Ensure secure MFA enrollment and device registration using PingID.
Configure and maintain role-based access controls (RBAC) and lifecycle policies in ForgeRock.
Support access reviews, certifications, and entitlement audits.
Integrate ForgeRock with financial systems and internal platforms.
Ensure IAM processes align with regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, PSD2).
Monitor authentication logs and respond to anomalies or access violations.
Assist in internal and external audits related to IAM.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for PingID and ForgeRock-related issues.
Troubleshoot MFA failures, access provisioning errors, and identity sync issues.
Collaborate with IAM engineering and vendor support for escalations.
Develop onboarding guides, compliance checklists, and training materials.
Conduct training sessions for new hires and support teams.
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to the IAM knowledge base.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Experience with PingID and ForgeRock in a financial or enterprise environment.
Strong understanding of IAM principles, MFA, SSO, and identity federation.
Familiarity with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
Knowledge of financial compliance frameworks and audit practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:
Certifications in Ping Identity and/or ForgeRock technologies.
Experience with IAM integrations in financial systems and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure AD, AWS).
Knowledge of scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and RESTful APIs.
Experience with identity lifecycle automation and governance tools.
