Systems Administrator
Salary – £50,000 - £65,000
Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Holiday – 23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 28 days)
Location - Hybrid, Midlands / Greater London Area South / Home Counties
About the Systems Administrator role

We’re looking for a Systems Administrator to join our Central systems team. Based remotely, we are ideally looking for candidates around the Midlands, South, London / home counties area.
This Systems Administrator role plays a pivotal role in ensuring systems are set up appropriately; maintained; well-integrated and well supported within a holistic framework across the practice. This will be a highly organised individual, with experience working of enterprise systems administration an IT Services environment. This is a Cloud-First environment with some core practice management on-premise solutions that are hosted by TC Group’s Manager in a Citrix environment.
The role will have excellent development opportunities to grow with the organisation and in planning how new systems are adopted. The role will be supported in professional training and certifications with exciting cross-functional opportunities to participated in strategic Technology initiatives led by the Central services to underpin the support of TC Group for future growth.
Key responsibilities of a Systems Administrator will include:
- Information gathering and assessment to provide timely and accurate visibility of all systems.
- Ensuring suitable monitoring is in place for the ensuring high quality experience to the Partner firms with the goal for overall excellent Partner experience in services provided.
- Planning changes to align with prioritisation for the delivery of agreed roadmap and priorities.
- Identify, coordinate and lead sessions to understand the use of systems, minimise legacy approach based on data.
- Coordinate the testing, commissioning and decommissioning for systems to ensure smooth adoption across the practice, working with technical teams as needed.
- Support compliance with GDPR, ISO, and other standards. Coordinates with security teams and vendors to maintain safe, audited, and resilient systems.
- Support M&A activity in in relation to the systems migrations that are associated with acquisition and integrations (1-2 per month) that are core to TC Group’s successful growth. Participate as needed on-site.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of new systems to ensure all are aligned with the relevant policies, standards and Technology operating model.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure confidentiality, integrity and high availability of all systems.
About you
We are looking for candidates with the following core competencies and skills:
Technical
- Significant experience in a similar role
- Bachelor Degree (Computer Science, engineering), Relevant IT qualifications (Microsoft Certifications)
- Proficient with MS Azure / Active Directory
- Experienced with SSO and integration tools
- Strong understanding of systems architecture
- Familiar with Citrix environment
- Awareness of relevant standards such as GDPR, ISO27001, ITIL, Cyber Security frameworks as relate to securing systems and data
Interpersonal
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Organisational
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Worked in a multi-site environment ideally 20+ sites
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
