Job Description
Join our team as a Data Center Technician specialising in Inventory & Asset Logistics Support. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery and tracking of inventory within a dynamic data center environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations.
  • Leverage process knowledge and best judgment to complete tasks without direct supervision.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and Rack Movement Supervisor activities.
  • Ensure complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
  • Conduct inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various Data Center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activities.
  • Manage material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process.
  • Perform destruction of data-bearing devices following all documented procedures.
Essential Skills
  • High School Diploma and 1+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain within an IT environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous data center experience is preferred.
