Location: Theale, Berkshire
Salary: Around £40,000 + OTE
About the RoleA rapidly expanding technology distributor is searching for an Internal Sales Executive to join its Service Provider division. This role sits within a specialist team focused on delivering connectivity, networking, and unified communications solutions to a growing customer base.
You’ll combine proactive sales activity with ongoing account management, working closely with internal departments to support customer needs and drive revenue across the portfolio.
What You’ll Be Doing- Identifying and developing new sales opportunities with Service Providers
- Building relationships with decision-makers and presenting tailored solutions
- Managing an existing group of smaller accounts to maximise repeat business
- Supporting senior colleagues with larger customer relationships
- Coordinating with Technical Support, Marketing, Operations and Finance
- Resolving customer issues quickly and professionally
- Meeting agreed sales goals and performance targets
- Recording all activity accurately in the CRM system
- Preparing reports and updates for internal stakeholders
- Staying informed about product updates, technologies, and market trends
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar sales role
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Solid organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work with Outlook, Excel, Word and CRM platforms
- Good time management and reliability
- A strong desire to progress within a growing business
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude
- Knowledge of telecommunications, connectivity or networking products
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities independently
- Commercial awareness and understanding of customer needs
