ICT Support Technician - Swindon
 Salary: £35,000 + benefits
I'm working with a well-established construction and infrastructure business that's looking to appoint an ICT Support Technician to join their Swindon-based team.
You'll be part of a close-knit internal IT function supporting end users across the UK, providing first- and second-line technical support on hardware, software, and systems. This role would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, variety in their day, and working with a broad range of users across both office and site environments.
Key responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd line support for all ICT queries, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Support user account management, permissions, and security in line with company systems and processes.
Assist with hardware and software upgrades, patching, and roll-outs.
Liaise with third-party suppliers where required and maintain accurate asset records.
Support the onboarding and offboarding process for new starters and leavers.
What you'll need:
Previous experience in an ICT Support or Helpdesk role (1st/2nd line).
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
Confident troubleshooting hardware, networking, and connectivity issues.
Excellent communication and customer service skills - approachable and proactive.
