ERP Manager (NetSuite)

An established, high-growth organisation is appointing a Senior ERP to take ownership of its NetSuite ERP platform and the broader systems ecosystem connected to it. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role sitting at the intersection of finance, operations, technology, and digital channels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the ERP and integration landscape is robust, scalable, and aligned to business priorities, while leading continuous improvement and overseeing day-to-day platform performance.

The Role

This position carries end-to-end accountability for NetSuite and associated integrations, combining technical depth, delivery leadership, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Key focus areas include:

  • Owning and delivering the NetSuite roadmap
  • Translating business requirements into effective ERP and integration solutions
  • Ensuring operational stability, strong governance, and high data quality
  • Leading internal and external delivery resources

Key Responsibilities

ERP Platform Leadership

  • Take full ownership of the NetSuite ERP environment, balancing operational support with strategic enhancement
  • Lead configuration and optimisation across finance, order management, procurement, inventory, and reporting
  • Establish and maintain governance around access control, segregation of duties, change management, and releases
  • Oversee release planning, testing, and deployment activities, working with third-party partners where required

Integration & Architecture Oversight

  • Own the integration landscape connecting NetSuite with downstream and upstream systems (eCommerce, logistics, payments, CRM, BI, etc.)
  • Ensure integrations are reliable, well-documented, monitored, and supported
  • Lead incident management and root-cause analysis, driving permanent fixes rather than workarounds
  • Define integration standards covering APIs, middleware, data structures, monitoring, and alerting
  • Manage external developers and integration partners

Data, Controls & Compliance

  • Champion high standards of master data quality and governance
  • Partner with Finance and Audit teams to support controls, compliance requirements, and audit readiness
  • Define and track KPIs covering platform health, incidents, delivery throughput, and backlog

Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead and develop a small ERP / integration team (directly or via partners)
  • Run structured delivery processes with clear prioritisation and transparent reporting
  • Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and statements of work
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, presenting clear options and recommendations

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrable experience owning and managing NetSuite ERP in a complex, multi-process environment
  • Strong background in systems integration, including API-based integrations and middleware/iPaaS platforms
  • Proven delivery of cross-functional ERP or systems programmes with measurable business impact
  • Solid understanding of finance operations and internal controls
  • Confident stakeholder manager, able to align competing priorities and drive decision-making
  • Calm, methodical approach to operational issues and incident resolution

Desirable Experience

  • NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation or role-specific)
  • Hands-on exposure to SuiteScript, workflows, saved searches, and advanced reporting
  • Experience with common integration platforms (e.g. Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato)
  • Background in retail, eCommerce, distribution, or multi-entity / multi-currency environments
