We're looking for a proactive and dependable IT Helpdesk Analyst to join a small, supportive IT team within a leading international research institute focused on global development. This is a fully onsite role where you'll be the first point of contact for all day‐to‐day IT queries, ensuring users receive quick, friendly and effective support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st line support for hardware, software and user issues.
  • Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft Office, laptops, printers and basic network queries.
  • Set up new user accounts and support starters with device setup.
  • Support onsite users and assist with basic AV/equipment issues.
  • Log, update and manage tickets, escalating when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in an IT support/helpdesk role (or similar technical environment).
  • Good working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills and a helpful, customer‐focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently within a small, collaborative team.
  • Someone reliable, organised and comfortable working fully onsite.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Office 365, Active Directory or ticketing systems.
  • Any exposure to AV support.
