We're looking for a proactive and dependable IT Helpdesk Analyst to join a small, supportive IT team within a leading international research institute focused on global development. This is a fully onsite role where you'll be the first point of contact for all day‐to‐day IT queries, ensuring users receive quick, friendly and effective support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line support for hardware, software and user issues.
- Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft Office, laptops, printers and basic network queries.
- Set up new user accounts and support starters with device setup.
- Support onsite users and assist with basic AV/equipment issues.
- Log, update and manage tickets, escalating when required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in an IT support/helpdesk role (or similar technical environment).
- Good working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills and a helpful, customer‐focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently within a small, collaborative team.
- Someone reliable, organised and comfortable working fully onsite.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Office 365, Active Directory or ticketing systems.
- Any exposure to AV support.
