Job Title: First Line IT Support
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £25,000-£28,000 per annum
Are you a skilled First Line IT Support professional based in Sheffield? As a First Line IT Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and assisting users to ensure IT systems run smoothly. You'll be working for a growing business delivering reliable IT solutions and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Assist with user account management and permissions
Support IT projects and system upgrades as required
Maintain accurate documentation of support activities
Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
Experience and certifications required:
Proven experience in first-line IT support
Familiarity with Windows and/or Mac operating systems
Basic networking knowledge
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft MTA, or equivalent (beneficial)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
