Cloud Business Analyst (telco experience needed)

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Communications & Infrastructure Programme Delivery Team. You will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technology solutions across the telecoms communication landscape, including Cloud services, Mobile communications, Messaging platforms, Fixed voice infrastructure, and Enterprise customer services.

Location: London, hybrid

Contract- 1 year, inside IR35

This role involves working on complex digital programmes with a strong focus on Telco Cloud and requires expertise in stakeholder engagement, requirements management, and business process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and manage business and technical requirements across telecom domains.
• Ensure traceability of requirements through testing and supplier alignment.
• Conduct gap analysis and validate solution coverage against business needs.
• Collaborate with architects to review High-Level Architecture (HLA).
• Analyse and document business processes, especially cross-functional and technical operations.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights and validate requirements.
• Support project/programme delivery with risk and issue management.
• Contribute to scoping, feasibility assessments, and initiation documentation.
• Align business goals with technical execution in complex environments like Telco Cloud and Mobile Core.

What We're Looking For

• Strong Telecommunications Industry expertise with experience as a Business Analyst in complex, multi-vendor environments.
• Proven Telco Cloud delivery experience with major players (e.g., Nokia, Ericsson).
• Solid understanding of voice/packet-core network technologies, telco cloud, OSS & BSS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, solve problems, and manage ambiguity.
• Tech-savvy with collaboration tools and virtual ways of working.
