Head of Delivery Excellence
The Head of Delivery Excellence role is a leadership role within Digital Management responsible for overseeing and implementing the successful execution of the Digital Management strategy to support driving the Digital Transformation.The multiple improvement projects will support embedding the fundamentals and delivering improvements across all Digital areas. Specifically, you will lead on development and delivery of the Digital Management Strategy, a transformation programme that will reshape the Digital organisation at Thames. You will develop a plan for implementing all initiatives within the strategy.What you’ll be doing as Head of Delivery Excellence
- Develop & Implement the Digital Management strategy with alignment to the strategic goals of Digital and the company.
- Enhance the maturity across the relevant digital capabilities This will be achieved by fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Set up and drive continuous improvement across all of Digital.
- Define & Deliver Digital Management Improvement Initiatives.
- Identify all the areas that require change / improvement working alongside the Head of PMO and Head of P & PM to own and implement the changes across Digital Transformation teams.
- Develop strategic plans which contribute to the development of functional strategy.
- Define & Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance and team productivity. Develop and maintain a performance dashboard with key delivery KPIs.
- Project & Programme Management Experience.
- Landing change in teams (people, process, technology)
- Experience of leading continuous improvement using lean/agile ways of working.
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing, cross-functional transformation across disparate teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage strong relationships with internal customers & teams, senior leadership, external clients, and third-party vendors.
- At least one PM discipline – e.g. Prince 2 - Waterfall or Agile Methodologies.
- Competitive salary if up to £90,000 per annum depending on experience.
