We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded FP&A Planning Lead to own and drive our rolling P&L forecast across our global business. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our financial planning. You will own the end-to-end rolling forecast process, partnering with divisional and functional leaders to deliver accurate, insightful forecasts that enable strategic decision-making and drive our continued growth.
Day-to-day, you will:
Forecast Ownership & Management:
- Own and manage the complete rolling P&L forecast process across FP&A, maintaining 12-36 month forward visibility.
- Build out scenario models and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive forecast accuracy through rigorous variance analysis and refinement of methodologies.
Commercial Insight:
- Develop a leading indicator scorecard and incorporate into forecast narrative, identifying areas of risk/opportunity.
- Integrate insights across business units to build a coherent story that connects financial performance to our strategic objectives.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with divisional finance teams and functional owners to ensure consistency of approach and data quality
Process Excellence & Systems:
- Continuously evaluate and improve forecast processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy and reduce cycle times.
- Leverage financial planning tools to automate workflows and streamline consolidation.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent qualification preferred, or qualified by experience.
- Significant experience in FP&A or financial planning roles, with demonstrable track record of managing complex, multi-entity P&L forecasts.
- Proven ability to understand context behind the numbers - connecting financial performance to business drivers, market dynamics and strategic initiatives.
- Intellectually curious with ability to ask the right questions to truly understand what's driving the business.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to challenge senior stakeholders constructively while building trust and credibility.
- Collaborative team player with a growth mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis.
