If you’re an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who loves modern tech, complex environments, and genuine engineering challenges, this role will give you all of that, and more.

You’ll join a highly respected market leader in their field, supporting sites and employees across the UK. With a broad technical estate spanning on-prem, hybrid cloud and Azure services, this is a chance to shape, secure and modernise business-critical systems used across the entire organisation.

You’ll work closely with a forward-thinking Infrastructure Manager, acting as a senior technical point for cloud, automation, virtualisation, and enterprise infrastructure design. It is essential you have good Azure skills for this role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Taking ownership of Azure solutions, shaping environments that are stable, secure, and ready to scale
• Driving performance, resilience, and cost-efficiency across Azure and hybrid infrastructure
• Building smart automation and scripts that remove manual effort and keep systems running smoothly
• Creating and maintaining seamless connectivity between on-prem systems and cloud services
• Improving and evolving the wider infrastructure stack to support a fast-moving, modern enterprise
• Overseeing the setup, tuning, and lifecycle management of servers and enterprise platforms
• Playing a major role in defining future technology direction, standards, and architecture decisions
• Leading technical projects through their full lifecycle, from planning and design to rollout and optimisation

Requirements:

• On-prem background, with recent Azure Infrastructure experience
• Windows Server, 365 and VMWare
• Knowledge of firewalls, routers and core networking
• Within a 45 minute commute of Harlow and happy being onsite 3-4 days per week
• Full right to work in the UK without any restrictions
