Remote – The ideal candidate will be located mainland England, preferably between Leeds and South Coast with travel to client sites.

£55000 - £60000 base plus realistic bonuses

Essential

Proven Key Account Management experience in B2B SaaS.

Experience of demonstrating a SaaS Solution to clients

Account revenue growth —you're comfortable selling to new buyers, not just managing existing relationships

Track record of building processes, playbooks, or methodologies

Demonstrable commercial impact with metrics: Net Revenue Retention, upsell revenue, renewal rates, or similar

Ability to rapidly master complex software systems and translate technical capabilities into business outcomes

Executive presence—comfortable engaging at Director and C-suite level

The role of a Senior Account Manager

You'll own relationships with Key Accounts, driving forward new growth opportunities, and renewal plans. Our platform is powerful and configurable, which means customer success depends heavily on the quality of the relationship.

You'll be the face of my client to your accounts, responsible not just for commercial outcomes but for ensuring clients genuinely realise value from their investment.

This is a player-coach role with significant strategic scope. You won't just manage accounts—you'll help define how account management is done. You'll build playbooks, establish processes, and lead a small team of Account Managers who will execute alongside you.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of two Account Managers, with further team growth expected within 12 months.

You'll be instrumental in shaping this team from day one.

Strategic Account Management

Own a portfolio of strategic accounts, driving retention, expansion, and advocacy

Develop and execute account plans for key clients, identifying growth opportunities and mitigating risks

Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and Executive Business Reviews with senior client stakeholders

Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes across IT, Operations, Finance, and Executive teams

Building the Function

Design and implement our account management methodology from the ground up

Shape customer segmentation and tiering frameworks

Develop health scoring models and early warning indicators for at-risk accounts

Build structures and renewal/expansion playbooks with clear stage gates

Establish escalation and risk mitigation protocols

Define handover processes with Implementation and Support teams

Team Leadership

Lead and develop a team of two Account Managers

Set clear objectives and performance standards

Coach on commercial conversations, stakeholder management, and product knowledge

Build a culture of accountability, curiosity, and customer advocacy
