Data Privacy Analyst
An excellent opportunity to join a leading global organisation as a Data Protection Analyst, supporting privacy compliance, data governance and risk management across a complex international environment. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical capability with a genuine interest in evolving privacy, data and AI regulations.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, helping to strengthen internal processes, support assessments, and contribute to key privacy initiatives. The position offers exposure to a broad range of data protection responsibilities, project work and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Support the review and enhancement of internal data protection policies, processes and controls
- Maintain dashboards and reporting metrics to track key privacy indicators
- Identify data protection risks and assist with mitigation and remediation activities
- Conduct assessments on data processing activities and assist with relevant documentation
- Support internal teams with privacy queries, guidance and training
- Contribute to reviews of vendor practices and client-driven privacy requests
- Assist in managing records, documentation, reporting and improvement initiatives
- Work on special projects that support the firm’s privacy and risk objectives
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in data protection, data governance, information risk, analytics or a related field
- IAPP certification is required (or nearing qualification)
- Strong understanding of data protection principles and global privacy frameworks
- Ability to analyse information, identify issues and make practical recommendations
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator able to work with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Experience with privacy, workflow or reporting tools is an advantage
- Degree or relevant background in law, IT, business, risk or similar disciplines
