The Role

We're looking for an Account Manager to own and grow relationships with our school and MAT partners. You'll ensure customers see long-term value from Top Marks and expand their use of our platform.

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, driving adoption, and identifying growth opportunities. You'll work directly with headteachers, senior leadership teams, and MAT leaders — focusing on value delivery and strategic partnership.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a portfolio of schools and multi-academy trusts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention
  • Drive renewals and expansion (additional schools, year groups, or trust-wide deployments)
  • Lead customer onboarding and deliver in-person workshops
  • Run regular check-ins and value-focused conversations with senior stakeholders
  • Gather customer insights to inform product development and positioning
  • Help shape account management processes and playbooks as we scale

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4+ years in account management or a customer-facing B2B role (SaaS or EdTech ideal)
  • Comfortable building relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Confident managing renewals and having commercial/pricing conversations
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple accounts
  • Happy to travel to visit clients and deliver in-person sessions
  • Bonus: experience working with UK schools, MATs, or understanding of education procurement cycles
