Automation QA

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract – 12 months

Location: Leeds (on-site once per month)

An experienced Automation QA Engineer is required to join a collaborative delivery team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will bring strong automation testing expertise with Scala, having used it extensively within the last 2–3 years.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
• Work closely with developers and wider QA teams to ensure high-quality delivery
• Execute automated and manual tests as required
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and processes

• Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience using Scala for test automation (recent 2–3 years)
• Experience working in agile delivery environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Remote-first role with once per month travel to Leeds
