THE ROLE
VCCP Roar is looking for a PR Senior Account Executive to join our tech PR team. You will have around 1 - 2 years experience, preferably in the tech sector, to join our tech PR team.
In this role you will...
- Drive the day-to-day rhythm of work across your accounts across B2B and consumer accounts in the consumer device, cybersecurity, travel and finance sectors
- Be a media hound – pitching and securing a steam of interview, feature, byline and rapid response opportunities to make sure there is real thrust to all accounts
- Simultaneously complete tasks across multiple accounts and projects
- Take a lead in responding to clients on day-to-day matters, providing consultancy and developing strong relationships
- Become a visible part of the account team, sharing news and updates with clients on a regular basis
- Writing written materials to a high standard, including opinion pieces, blogs and social posts
- Contribute to our client's outreach planning by leading the development, drafting, and maintenance of the media calendar as well as spotting both reactive and proactive media opportunities
- Establish solid relationships with your media contacts, regularly speaking with core journalists from a wide variety of trades, nationals, sectors and verticals
- Participate in new business brainstorms, taking an active role in supporting with research and insights
- Develop your PR knowledge and skillset to be able to actively suggest joint pitches and new ideas for media
- Take an active, positive role in our agency culture and support VCCP Roar's own marketing and social activity

WHO YOU ARE
You are a confident and proactive team player who is committed to delivering excellent communications support to clients. You will have a day-to-day focus on working within cross-agency teams to deliver successful PR programmes for your clients.
You are the lynchpin that ensures the smooth running of client work and campaigns, you will know your accounts inside and out, thinking about how to ensure you achieve client targets each month. Across the agency, you are the go to expert on the latest stories, media trends, and everyday creativity.
