About the Position

Join a global business and technology consulting firm as a Director of Consulting and Practice Lead. In this senior role, you will drive growth, sales, and client delivery across complex, high-value data engagements. You will own key client relationships end to end, shaping new opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and acting as the senior engagement lead for large-scale data and cloud programmes.

Start Date: Flexible

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, typically 2-3 days per week in the office.

What You'll Do
  • Lead sales conversations, scope and price work, and develop compelling propositions that build trusted executive-level relationships.
  • Ensure delivery excellence, strong commercial performance, and clear value realisation for clients.
  • Oversee multi-disciplinary teams delivering modern data platforms, cloud solutions, and data strategy initiatives.
  • Provide senior oversight, steer engagement direction, manage risk and financials, and act as the escalation point for senior stakeholders.
  • Shape go-to-market strategy, develop consulting offerings, mentor senior consultants, and contribute to the firm’s wider commercial growth.
What You Bring
  • Significant experience in consulting or professional services, especially selling and delivering complex data programmes.
  • Understanding of modern data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proven track record of managing senior client relationships and leading consulting teams.
  • Experience working within PE-backed or high-growth environments.

  • Industry-specific certifications or expertise in data strategy.
  • Strong leadership or mentoring background within a consulting environment.
Experience Required

10 to 25 years of experience in consulting or professional services.

Education
