About the PositionJoin a global business and technology consulting firm as a Director of Consulting and Practice Lead. In this senior role, you will drive growth, sales, and client delivery across complex, high-value data engagements. You will own key client relationships end to end, shaping new opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and acting as the senior engagement lead for large-scale data and cloud programmes.
Start Date: Flexible
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, typically 2-3 days per week in the office.
What You'll Do- Lead sales conversations, scope and price work, and develop compelling propositions that build trusted executive-level relationships.
- Ensure delivery excellence, strong commercial performance, and clear value realisation for clients.
- Oversee multi-disciplinary teams delivering modern data platforms, cloud solutions, and data strategy initiatives.
- Provide senior oversight, steer engagement direction, manage risk and financials, and act as the escalation point for senior stakeholders.
- Shape go-to-market strategy, develop consulting offerings, mentor senior consultants, and contribute to the firm’s wider commercial growth.
- Significant experience in consulting or professional services, especially selling and delivering complex data programmes.
- Understanding of modern data technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Proven track record of managing senior client relationships and leading consulting teams.
- Experience working within PE-backed or high-growth environments.
- Experience with emerging technologies or methodologies in data and cloud.
- Industry-specific certifications or expertise in data strategy.
- Strong leadership or mentoring background within a consulting environment.
10 to 25 years of experience in consulting or professional services.
EducationA degree is preferred.
