A well-established consulting firm is seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer to join its growing internal technology team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working closely with users across a professional services environment.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality IT support and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day technology operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1st–2nd line support across hardware, software, and networks
  • Troubleshooting incidents and escalating complex issues when required
  • Managing user onboarding/offboarding, permissions, and system access
  • Supporting Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and core business applications
  • Maintaining IT documentation, asset registers, and best-practice processes
  • Contributing to ongoing infrastructure, security, and improvement projects

About You

  • 2–4 years’ experience in an IT support or service desk role
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and networking fundamentals
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-first approach
  • Confident communicator, able to support users at all levels
  • Experience in consulting or professional services is an advantage but not essential
