A well-established consulting firm is seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer to join its growing internal technology team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working closely with users across a professional services environment.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality IT support and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day technology operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing 1st–2nd line support across hardware, software, and networks
- Troubleshooting incidents and escalating complex issues when required
- Managing user onboarding/offboarding, permissions, and system access
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and core business applications
- Maintaining IT documentation, asset registers, and best-practice processes
- Contributing to ongoing infrastructure, security, and improvement projects
About You
- 2–4 years’ experience in an IT support or service desk role
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and networking fundamentals
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-first approach
- Confident communicator, able to support users at all levels
- Experience in consulting or professional services is an advantage but not essential
