Location: London – Hybrid  | Permanent | £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE)

VIQU are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Data Engineer to join their growing Data and Platform Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 2 years’ experience looking to develop their career in cloud-based data engineering. You’ll work across the full lifecycle of data products, helping design, build, and maintain data pipelines and platforms using modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines and platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product managers on data solutions.
• Support deployment, testing, and documentation of data products.
• Work with cloud-based tools, including BigQuery, Airflow, Terraform, DBT, and GIT.
• Continuously learn new tools and technologies, contributing to team knowledge and best practices.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 1–3 years’ experience in Data Engineering, analytics, or related roles.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP preferred; Azure/AWS acceptable).
• Familiarity with data tooling: DBT, GIT, Terraform, Airflow, Docker (nice to have).
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset.
• Interested in Agile practices, Test-Driven Design, and modern data architectures.
