IT Support Engineer
IT Support Engineer – Aldgate / London
My customer is on the lookout for an IT Support Engineer to help support their IT Support team. The Engineer must have 1st and 2nd Line support experience and have worked in a regulated working environment.
The IT Support Engineer would help with any 1st and some 2nd line issues and be responsible for access requests and overall user support.
The IT Support Engineer is required on site 5 days per week in Aldgate.
Key Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer
- Provide first-line support to office users for issues related to:
- Password resets.
- Access Requests / Login permissions
- Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint)
- Manage and assign administrative access rights as per company policies.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the outsourced IT team when necessary.
- Serve as the intermediary between factory users and the outsourced IT team.
- Ensure smooth communication and coordination with external IT providers.
- diagnosing and fixing issues related to a company's IT services - CISCO & VPN
- Liaise with external teams to resolve escalated network issues promptly.
The successful IT Support Engineer is required on site in Aldgate.
