IT Platform and Delivery Support Apprentice (Viridor Limited)

You’ll work with data, applications, and reporting tools, learning how they support the company’s goals. You’ll be part of a small IT team, helping to make sure our systems work well and meet the needs of the business.

Role

You’ll get to work with experienced colleagues and external partners, learning how projects are planned and delivered. You won’t need to lead projects or make big decisions yet, but you’ll be involved in supporting the team, understanding how things work, and helping with tasks as you build your skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see how technology helps people make decisions and improve services. You’ll be supported as you learn, and your work will help the team deliver great results.

  • Help look after Viridor’s data systems and applications, making sure they run smoothly.
  • Support the team in working with external partners, checking that work is done well and on time.
  • Learn how to gather information from different business areas to understand what they need from IT.
  • Assist with improving our reporting tools and applications, focusing on making things easier and more efficient.
  • Learn about best practices in looking after data and managing applications.
  • Help make sure our systems are secure and follow company rules.

Training

The opportunity may offer a permanent role upon completion of the apprenticeship.
