Lead Consultant - Endur

Location: London, United Kingdom

Employment Type: Full-time, Client-facing Consulting Role

Seniority Level: Associate Director / Director (10+ years experience)

Practice: Endur practice

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst or Endur Subject Matter Expert to join our London-based consulting team at Associate Director level. This role is ideal for professionals with deep experience in energy trading and the Endur platform, whether gained in-house or through consulting work. You will work directly with leading energy and commodity trading clients across Europe, delivering high-impact projects spanning gas, power, emissions, LNG, and oil.

Working closely with our global team of experts, you will help translate complex business needs into platform solutions, design fit-for-purpose workflows, and support implementation and change management. Your ability to navigate between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams will be key to creating lasting value for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage client engagements focused on Endur implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
  • Design functional solutions that cover deal capture, scheduling, pricing, risk metrics, and settlement logic.
  • Serve as the lead functional interface between client business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
  • Support configuration and business logic in Endur modules such as Trade Manager, Credit Manager, Market Manager, Connex, and Risk Manager.
  • Translate regulatory, commercial, and operational requirements into Endur-based solutions.
  • Oversee requirement gathering, documentation, testing coordination, and training delivery.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge development.
  • Represent the firm as a subject matter expert in both project delivery and pre-sales contexts.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience working with Endur (ION), with a strong focus on trade lifecycle, risk, or operations within energy and commodity trading environments
  • Strong domain knowledge in European energy markets (power, gas, emissions); LNG or oil exposure is a plus.
  • Proven track record as a Business Analyst, Solution Designer, or Subject Matter Expert on Endur-related initiatives, ideally spanning multiple asset classes (e.g. gas, power, emissions, LNG, oil)
  • Deep understanding of ETRM system design and configuration, gained through hands-on delivery roles in complex projects, whether from a consultancy or trading company
  • Ability to bridge business and IT, translate requirements into platform logic, and drive design workshops with users and developers
  • Experience coordinating across global teams and cross-functional stakeholders in high-pressure delivery environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Preferred Background

  • Prior experience with consulting or project-based delivery across multiple clients or business units
  • Background in software development (e.g., Java, OpenJVS, scripting) for automation, rapid prototyping, or enhancement support
  • Experience collaborating with offshore development or support teams
