What you'll be doing
- Lead operational cyber security initiatives across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments

- Act as the go-to security advisor, providing strategic guidance to stakeholders and serving as the trusted escalation point for complex security challenges
- Drive vendor relationships, working with suppliers and contractors to deliver robust, resilient services
- Mentor and influence colleagues, fostering a security-first culture across the organisation
What you bring to the role
- Proven expertise in cyber security and infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of working independently on complex technical challenges
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to advise at all levels and translate technical concepts into business language
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, Microsoft Azure Security, or equivalent practical experience
- Public sector experience would be advantageous but not essential
