Desktop Support Engineer
Contract Duration: 12th January – End of March Rate: £154 Umbrella
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to support a large-scale upgrade project, migrating approximately 1,000 devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11 across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities-
Upgrade and migrate around 1,000 end-user devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11

Ensure minimal disruption to users during the upgrade process

Troubleshoot and resolve upgrade-related issues

Provide on-site user support during and after migrations

Follow documented upgrade processes and escalation procedures

Accurately record progress and issues throughout the project

Proven experience upgrading Windows 10 to Windows 11 in an enterprise environment

Strong desktop support and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites

Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential due to site travel)
