IT Engineer

IT Engineer Location: Norwich Rate: £140 per day (PAYE, including holiday pay)Contract: Temporary

We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join an NHS organisation in Norwich on a contract basis. This role will focus on the build and deployment of devices across the Trust, supporting end users and ensuring a smooth rollout process.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced and challenging environment, with the ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism under pressure. You will need to be experienced enough to hit the ground running, working independently and as part of a wider deployment team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, configure, and deploy end-user devices (laptops, desktops, and peripherals)
• Support users during deployment and ensure minimal disruption to services
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of assets and deployments
• Work collaboratively with IT teams to ensure consistency and quality of service delivery

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in device build and deployment within an IT environment
• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and deployment tools
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in demanding situations
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
