Marketing Manager

Your Path to Marketing Director | Public Sector SaaS Specialist

Do you want to take the reins of a marketing function that’s already winning?

You’ll be stepping into a warm, successful marketing desk, not starting from scratch. You’re trusted to lead, to shape strategy, and to put your stamp on a new brand launching into an established market.

In this role, your work directly supports public sector initiatives that improve lives and wellbeing of the UK; from health and wellbeing campaigns to community-focused behaviour change. You’ll be building commercial success while doing work that genuinely matters.

You’ll join as a senior, high-impact Marketing Manager, with a clear and realistic pathway to Marketing Director as the business grows.

Why you’ll want to be here

You’ll be joining a rapidly growing, recession-resistant SaaS business that works exclusively with public sector clients. The market is stable, the demand is strong, and the company is already highly successful.

You’ll work alongside a capable team of designers, developers, product specialists and creatives, meaning you won’t be doing everything yourself, but you will be leading it all.

Around 90% of success comes from events, so if you enjoy being visible, building relationships, and representing a business face-to-face, you’ll thrive here.

This is a role you shape, not just fill

This isn’t a narrow specialist role. You are the marketing lead.

You will:

  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution

  • Take control of messaging, communications and copywriting (this is a core part of your impact)

  • Lead on events, presentations and in-person engagement

  • Oversee websites, SEO and digital performance (strong awareness matters, perfection doesn’t)

  • Manage agencies and outsource specialist activity where it makes sense

  • Work closely with sales and product teams to deliver measurable commercial results

  • Have the confidence  to challenge, influence and push back when needed

You’ll be rewarded for success, with:

  • £45,000–£60,000 base salary (DOE)

  • Commission and/or bonus structure, tailored to how you deliver results

  • A role that can genuinely evolve into a Marketing Director position

This position is intentionally flexible and can be tailored around the right person, not a rigid job description.

This role might not be for you if…

  • You’re looking for a fully remote role with minimal team interaction

  • You don’t enjoy events, presentations or being front-facing

  • You prefer working independently rather than as part of a collaborative team

You’ll be expected to spend time in the Epsom office initially to build relationships and momentum. A recent hire was office-based for their first month and now comes in just once or twice a week! Trust and flexibility are earned quickly.

Ready to take your ownership?

If you’re ready to lead, influence and build, this is your opportunity.

Apply now with your CV.

Interview process;

  1. A 30-minute introductory conversation with the Commercial Manager

  1. A face-to-face meeting at the Epsom office

If you want a role where you shape the strategy, grow with the business, and do work that makes a real difference, this is it.
