Head of Product - Remote role (based in the UK) - £85K + bonus - £100K+ package - Permanent role

An excellent opportunity to join a SaaS vendor in a senior management position, taking responsibility for Product and playing a key part in the development both of the core product and of the business as a whole. 

Day to day, you will own the roadmap for the company's product set. You'll pull together market research, customer research, input from sales teams, and be responsible for validation and origination of product ideas. 

Essentially, you'll provide the glue between sales, compliance and governance, technology and customer success teams, to own the customer journey and identify and prioritise features which enhance the product and secure customers.  

You'll need experience in hands on Product Owner and Manager roles; you will be closely involved in the detail of the work, and will have two Product Owners reporting to you as part of the role. You'll need to be able to make decisions and justify them, balancing competing priorities and aims and working closely with senior colleagues. 

In particular you'll need experience working in payments; specific knowledge of BACS and Direct Debits in particular will be essential, and experience with Cards would be valuable; that experience might have been gained in a software vendor, payments provider, or end user (perhaps a retailer), or another setting, but experience of the payments space is vital.
