We recently completed an exciting transformation journey, evolving our Digital Product team and processes with a new way of working that places our digital products at the heart of our business. We are now seeking experienced Senior Product Managers to join our Product-Led Organisation. These roles span various squads, focusing on internal and external initiatives as we aim to 'Evolve ASOS beyond just an eCommerce retailer.'

We currently receive over 2.5 billion visits annually, have more than 23 million active customers, and over 50 million unique visitors monthly. This creates a highly dynamic environment with opportunities to develop best-in-class digital products.

The Details

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Recommendations team. This pivotal role involves driving the strategy and execution of our machine learning-powered recommendation systems, including models and customer experiences that surface recommendations. Your work will directly impact the shopping experience of millions of ASOS customers worldwide.

The current Recommendation System (RecSys) is built on a Transformer-based architecture and powers various onsite and offsite customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy: Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our recommendation systems, ensuring alignment with ASOS's overall business goals.
  2. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, data science, product design, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
  3. Customer Focus: Use customer insights and data to inform product decisions, meeting customer needs and business goals.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to define, refine, and execute plans effectively.
  5. Measurement: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure success, continuously optimizing for better performance and customer satisfaction.
  6. Leadership: Set standards, mentor junior product managers, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
