Network Cable Installer Apprenticeship
VQ Solutions is searching for a motivated, enthusiastic and proactive individual to launch their career as a Network Cable Installer with Wi-Fix Networks. In this varied, practical role, you will work alongside experienced engineers installing both copper and fibre networks nationwide.
Role
- Installation and testing of Cat5e, Cat 6, Cat6a cables
- WiFi Access points surveys and installations
- Fibre Optic Installation and Splicing
- Starlink Installations
- AV & VC installations. From flush mounted TVS to GoGets, PolyComs and YeaLinks.
Training
You will work towards an Advanced level Network Cable Installer Apprenticeship delivered by VQ Solutions. You will have a dedicated VQ Mentor, and will also be supported internally by your manager.
During this apprenticeship, you will develop a portfolio, attend training courses, and have monthly reviews. All apprenticeship work will be completed during working hours.
The majority of our apprentices are offered full-time roles upon the successful completion of their apprenticeship.
