Business Intelligence Analyst
We are looking for an experienced analyst to join our team. You will focus on providing accurate, timely, easily understandable business and commissioning information, covering all aspects of children's social care and early help, producing management and monitoring reports for a variety of audiences. You will be involved with, and on occasions lead, the delivery of statutory data collections, recording and reporting arrangements to support senior managers and their teams as well as undertake data modelling and design activity to ensure timely access to business and commissioning intelligence. You will draw upon your analytical skills, application of different software packages and experience of producing and manipulating complex data sets to develop informative reports and recommendations for senior managers. This role is fundamental to ensure that senior management and commissioners have the best intelligence available to them to support decision making and service delivery, allowing the effective targeting of resources within a challenging financial environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the delivery of statutory data collections, recording and reporting arrangements to support senior managers and their teams.
- Produce management and monitoring reports for a variety of audiences; develop informative reports and recommendations for senior managers.
- Apply analytical skills and manipulate complex data sets using different software packages to develop business and commissioning intelligence.
- Design data models and ensure timely access to information for decision making and service delivery.
- Collaborate with teams to target resources effectively within a challenging financial environment.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Power BI, DAX and SQL.
- Knowledge of children's social care services is advantageous but not essential.
