Data Analyst Apprenticeship

Role
- Establish reporting needs and deliver insightful and accurate information
- Collect, compile and cleanse data
- Identify business problems and present insights to influence actions
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets
- Summarise and present the results of data analysis to a range of stakeholders, making recommendations
- Interrogate and analyse data to root-cause data quality issues
- Support automation initiatives to enhance data processing and reporting
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to translate business needs into data-driven solutions
Training
For the first six months, apprentices take part in hybrid weekly training, with tutor-led sessions every other week. On the alternate weeks, they focus on independent learning and completing tutor-assigned work. After the first six months, apprentices have a weekly session with their tutor or skills coach.
After completing this apprenticeship, learners can progress into roles such as Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, or Junior Data Engineer. They may also choose to continue their development through higher-level apprenticeships, specialist data qualifications, or further training in analytics, BI tools, or data engineering pathways.
