Business Development Executive - Internal

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a people-first business entering an exciting new growth phase. Following major investment in a state-of-the-art logistics hub in South Wales, Oprema continues to expand its reach, service levels, and customer base across the UK.

Now, they're looking for an Internal Business Development Executive to join their energetic team in either Northampton or Cardiff.

You'll be at the heart of Oprema's sales operation-building strong relationships, growing market share, and delivering an exceptional customer experience every time.

You'll be:

• Growing sales and market share across your region

• Re-engaging lapsed accounts and developing new opportunities

• Managing customer relationships from enquiry to order

• Providing tailored quotes and first-class support

• Maintaining accurate CRM records and liaising with suppliers

• Staying informed on Oprema's tier-one and tier-two brands

• Sales experience, ideally within the security distribution or related tech sector

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Strong attention to detail and CRM/ERP experience

• A proactive, upbeat, and commercial mindset

Nice to have:

• Understanding of market pricing and margins

• Basic technical product knowledge

• Formal sales training

What's on offer:

• £27k-£28k base + OTE ~£35k

• 25 days' holiday (rising to 27 after 3 years) + bank holidays
