Hardware Engineer

Job Title: Hardware Engineer

Location: Brentwood, UK

Job Type: Full-time contract, 6 months, with potential extension

Work Model: Hybrid (4 days onsite)

Key Skills:

• Strong understanding of schematics and PCB layout designs

• RF knowledge (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, including testing)

• Familiarity with communication interfaces (DDR, SPI, I2C)

• Proficient in using test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, multimeters)

• Experience with engineering software (Altium, LTSpice, terminal programs)

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Must-Haves:

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Hands-on experience with hardware test and verification

• Competence in documenting and presenting test results

Nice-to-Haves:

• Python or other scripting experience for automation

• RF knowledge (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)

• Prior experience in consumer electronics or TV product development

Experience:

• Previous hardware engineering experience in a product development environment

• Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration (software engineering, project management)

• Comfortable supporting test activities both on-site and off-site

AI Integration:

• Exposure to or interest in AI-driven test automation and data analysis would be advantageous
