Role Description:

The Solution Data Architect is responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure data solutions that align with business objectives and technology strategies. This role ensures that data architecture supports enterprise integration, analytics, and compliance requirements while enabling digital transformation initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture Design: Develop end-to-end data architecture for solutions, including data models, integration patterns, and storage strategies.
• Solution Delivery: Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and development teams to ensure data requirements are met across applications and platforms.
• Integration & Interoperability: Define standards for data exchange between systems (APIs, ETL, streaming) and ensure consistency across enterprise systems.
• Governance & Compliance: Implement data governance principles, security standards, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Performance Optimization: Design for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess emerging technologies and recommend tools for data management, analytics, and integration.
• Documentation & Standards: Maintain architectural documentation, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience:

• 8+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or solution architecture roles.
• Proven experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and their data services.

Technical Skills:

• Data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical).
• ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.).
• Familiarity with BI tools and analytics platforms.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work in agile and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data governance frameworks and master data management (MDM).
• Knowledge of AI/ML data pipelines and Real Time streaming architectures.
• Certifications in cloud architecture or data engineering (eg, AWS Certified Data Analytics).
