Job Title: M365 Copilot SME (3 Vacancies) - 3rd/4th Line Support
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months Rolling

Overview
We're hiring 3x M365 Copilot SMEs to provide 3rd/4th line operational support for Microsoft 365 Copilot within a large enterprise tenant. You'll handle complex incident response, deep troubleshooting, policy/configuration changes, and support mass deployments across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Incident & Problem Management
- Triage and resolve complex M365 escalations/multi-user incidents (usage issues, access errors, unexpected results)
- Perform root cause analysis across:
- Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access
- SharePoint/OneDrive permissions
- Microsoft Teams
- Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- End-user experience/performance tooling (eg, Aternity)
Operational Support & Deployment
- Implement policy/configuration changes and support large-scale deployments
- Produce clear, audit-ready documentation and support artefacts within a regulated environment
Observability & Monitoring
- Use and interpret monitoring/observability tools (eg, ThousandEyes, Downdetector) to support incident response and proactive service assurance
Knowledge Sharing
- Deliver Copilot knowledge-sharing sessions to M365 application owners and support teams
Required Experience/Skills
Mandatory
- Microsoft Teams Voice (must be clearly demonstrated)
- 3+ years supporting Microsoft 365 at enterprise scale
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Microsoft 365 Copilot
- SharePoint/OneDrive permissions
- Entra ID and Conditional Access
- Experience working in regulated environments, producing audit-ready artefacts (eg, evidence, runbooks, incident/problem records)
Nice to Have
- Exposure to large-scale Copilot deployments (free/M365), ideally in financial services or similarly regulated industries
- PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API for troubleshooting, reporting, and automation
