IT Desktop Support Engineer

We are seeking a Deskside Support Specialist to join our IT support team in London. This is a hands-on technical role providing on-site support to our client's customers across various locations as required. The successful candidate will be involved in both BAU (Business As Usual) support and project/backfill activities.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT support professional who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working directly with end users in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide deskside and remote IT support to users across multiple customer sites.
  • Deliver hardware and software troubleshooting, configuration, and deployment.
  • Assist with project-related IT activities and provide backfill support as needed.
  • Ensure service requests and incidents are resolved in line with SLAs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and asset records.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience in a deskside or field support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Good understanding of hardware troubleshooting and peripheral setup.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Must be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance (no criminal records, must have had residency in the UK for 5+ years)
Additional Information

This is a full-time, permanent role based primarily in London, with occasional travel to customer sites. All travel costs are reimbursable in line with company policy. A company laptop and mobile phone will be provided.
