IT Engineers BASED IN GUERNSEY Permanent or Contract openings

Our client is seeking experienced technical PC Engineers to diagnose, repair, build, configure, and maintain personal computer systems and workstations within their custom-built repair centre in Guernsey.

To do this role you MUST LIVE IN GUERNSEY

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of PC hardware and software, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to optimise systems to meet business or client needs.

Key Duties and responsibilities.

Image Deployment: Deploy PC images for various hardware models and configurations. This will include Windows operating systems using solutions such as Intune and SCCM.

System Configuration: Configure and customise operating systems and applications according to company standards and client requirements.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve imaging-related issues, ensuring smooth deployment and functionality.

PC Repair: Perform hardware repairs on PCs, including diagnostics, part replacements, and system restorations.

Onsite Attendance: Visit the various sites across the island to ensure quick and effective delivery of hardware within our SLAs.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in PC imaging, deployment, troubleshooting, and repair.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in imaging software (e.g., Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, SCCM, Intune), Windows operating systems, hardware configurations, and repair techniques.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to Detail and a Team Player

Access to a personal vehicle, enabling independent travel to customer sites.
