Cloud Engineer – 2-month contract – Glasgow (Onsite) – Outside of IR35 My Customer is embarking on a transformational greenfield migration —rebuilding their infrastructure from the ground up as they move from an on-premises environment to Microsoft Azure . They are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to lead and deliver this cloud-first initiative. This is a unique opportunity … optimize cloud performance, cost, and governance. Ensure cloud environments are compliant with internal and external policies. Outside of IR35 Required Skills & Experience from the Cloud Engineer: Proven experience with greenfield cloud implementations and complex on-prem to Azure migrations . Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, governance). Strong background in DevOps practices , especially with Azure … and automation. Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates). Solid understanding of networking, security , and cloud-native architecture . Comfortable working in agile environments and fast-paced project timelines. The Cloud Engineer is required to work 5 days a week onsite in Glasgow.
