MainpurposeofServiceOperationsAnalyst TheTechnologyBusinessUnitoperatestoDesign,Deliver,RunandMaintainthetechnologysolutionsandservicesrequiredfortheCounciltoprocessbusinessanddeliverservicestotheresidentsofLambeth. ServiceOperationsAnalystAllfunctionsworkcollaborativelytodelivereffectiveendtoendsolutionsandservices. ServiceOperationsAnalystThisroleworkswithintheRunandMaintainfunctionwhichisaccountableformanagingtheday-to-dayoperationoftechnologysolutionsandservicestomaintainsecurity,availability,andcontinuousimprovementtoenableeffectivebusinessoperationswithhighlevelsofcustomersatisfaction. ServiceOperationsAnalystThisfunctionisalsorequiredtosupporttheDeliveryfunctionbyprovidingresourcestobuilddigitalandinformationtechnologysolutionsandservicesthatmeettheDesignrequirementsandforprovidingearlylifesupportfornewandchangingsolutionsandservicesacceptedintoliveoperation. 1.Responsibleforinitiatingandmonitoringactionstoinvestigateandresolveproblemsinsystems,processes,andservices.Assistswiththeimplementationofagreedremediesandpreventativemeasurestoassurecontinuityandavoiddisruptiontobusinessservicesensuringhighlevelofcustomersatisfaction. 12.Responsibleformonitoringservicecomponentcapacityandinitiatesactionstoresolveanyshortfallsaccordingtoagreedprocedurestoensurecontinuityofserviceandavoiddisruptiontobusinessservices. 3.Responsibleforensuresthattrackingandmonitoringofperformanceofservicedeliverythroughallchannels(human,digital,self-service,automated)iscarriedout,metricsandreportsarecreated,analysed,anddistributed,issuesareresolvedandidentifiedimprovementsaredeliveredthroughtheContinuousServiceImprovementPlan 4.ResponsibleforcontrollingITassets,includingbusinessandoperationalsoftwarelicencing,ensuringthatadministrationoftheacquisition,storage,distribution,movement,anddisposalofassetsiscarriedouttoreducecost,maintainsecurityandenablereuseandavoidingunnecessaryacquisition. 5.ResponsibleforworkingwithTechnologyAssuranceandOperationsteamstoimplementarrangementsfordisasterrecoveryanddocumentsrecoveryproceduresinordertoensurearapidrecoveryofbusinessservicesreducinganyadverseimpactonbusinessoperations. 6.Responsibleforassessing,analysing,developing,documenting,andcontrollingtheimplementationofchangesbasedonrequestsforchangetoensurecontinuityofoperationsandavoidanceofincidentsresultingfromITchangeinthebusinessenvironment.
